I wanna wave goodbye like you waved goodbye to me.
Well, the wish is strong, the will might come

S o, you want to live your life without my life
but maybe you’re still thinking of me at times like I’m thinking of you.
Oh and I never said the things I should’ve said, no I didn’t tell you
Well, you know, I was on the ground dreaming

Now I’m trying to avoid the faces and the places you’re going to
See how strange times have changed and our feelings waned
And now the time with you feels like the view through a kaleidoscope
The sight excites but hey, let in some light!

Feeling blue in a room with you. Your place where nothing’s ever changed
Let fire sparks in the dark and in the dark we could be catching stars

Tearing down the walls of hope with demon zealousness
You played this game so well, while I was raving
So win or lose but it’s the game of truth

Like a maimed dead bird comes down and crashes on a damp grey floor
