Serene join 48 Hour Music Video Project

Very excited to announce that Serene is taking part in the 48 Hour Film Project! Filming for the video to our iTunes & Spotify release, Shooting Star will be over the next weekend. You can see the Serene Shooting Star video clip on the big screen as part of a special 48 Hour Film & Music Project gala at London’s Prince Charles Cinema on the 5th December 2012. Tickets are £10 and will be available shortly. watch this space for details on where to buy tickets from.

The aim of the globally operated 48 Hour Film Project is to offer a platform for networking and exposure by assigning film makers a genre, a character, a prop, and a line of dialogue. The film team then has to write, film and edit a film in just 48 hours.

This year, 2012, the 48 Hour Film Project is collaborating with musicians and bands with the task for participating film teams to produce music video clips. Serene songwriter and guitarist, Cornel was invited to represent Serene and introduce the song Shooting Star to participating London filmmakers at a meet-and-greet event at London’s Boheme Phoenix Artists Club in Soho last Thursday, November 15th, 2012.
During the course of the event, Cornel met a bunch of talented filmmakers, as well as really interesting musicians and bands that also participate in the 2012 48 Hour Film Project.

Serene are very excited about the project. Scripting, filming and editing is to start later this week.

You can join us at the official premiere of the Serene music video for Shooting Star. The debut music video for Serene will be screened during a gala at London’s Prince Charles Cinema on December 5th! Tickets on sale later this week – watch this space for more info!
